Advisory Committees
At Forgotten Daughters, Inc., we believe every woman’s voice matters. Our Advisory Committees bring together girls, young women, and seasoned women leaders who share their insight, lived experience, and passion for helping women heal, rebuild, and reconnect. These committees support our mission by offering guidance, feedback, and community perspective that strengthens our programs and outreach.
Youth Advisory Committee (Ages 10–17)
The Youth Advisory Committee gives young girls a safe space to share their ideas, creativity, and experiences. Members help shape youth‑focused programs and ensure that Forgotten Daughters remains a supportive place for girls navigating life’s challenges.
Purpose:
• Provide youth perspective on programs and outreach
• Support youth‑centered events
• Build leadership skills in young participants
Emerging Women’s Advisory Committee (Ages 18–30)
This committee represents young adult women who are building their lives, navigating transitions, and stepping into independence. Members offer insight into the needs of emerging women and help shape programs that support personal growth, empowerment, and community connection.
Purpose:
• Advise on programs for young adult women
• Support outreach and engagement
• Assist with event planning and program development
Women of Wisdom Advisory Committee (Ages 31+)
The Women of Wisdom Committee is made up of women with lived experience, professional insight, and a heart for mentorship. These members provide guidance, support, and leadership that strengthens our programs and helps empower the next generation.
Purpose:
• Offer mentorship and guidance
• Support program development
• Strengthen community partnerships and outreach
