What We Do
We provide essential resources, community support, and advocacy designed to meet women exactly where they are — without judgment, without barriers, and without conditions. Through relationship-centered programs and trusted partnerships, we focus on restoring stability, fostering genuine connection, and empowering women and girls to rebuild their lives with confidence, dignity, and hope.
At Forgotten Daughters, we do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We show up with care kits and laptops. We sit beside women in support circles and community events. We connect them to mental health resources, educational opportunities, and the tools they need to move forward. We celebrate small victories and stand steady through hard seasons.
Here is what that looks like in practice:
🛍 Essential Care Kit Distribution We provide personal care and hygiene items to women and girls who need them — because dignity starts with the basics.
💻 Digital Access & Laptop Distribution Through our partnership with United Way of Greater Milwaukee's TechQuity WI program, we connect women and girls to refurbished laptops and digital resources that open doors to education, employment, and opportunity.
📚 GED Support Program We provide structured tutoring and study support for women pursuing their GED — because education is one of the most powerful tools for rebuilding a life.
🤝 Community Connection Circles We host free, recurring community gatherings where women can network, share resources, and simply be in the presence of people who understand. Because belonging is not a luxury — it is a necessity.
🗺 Resource Navigation & Referral We connect women to housing assistance, employment services, food resources, healthcare, transportation, and more — because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is help someone find the right door.
No matter where you are in your journey — we meet you there. 💜
