Every Woman Deserves to Be Seen.
At Forgotten Daughters, Inc., we believe impact is measured by more than numbers. It is reflected in the women who receive essential care items during difficult times, the adults who receive encouragement while pursuing education, and the young girls who discover the confidence to use their voices.
Since our founding in October 2025, we have worked to build a community-centered organization focused on meeting immediate needs, expanding opportunities, and creating meaningful connections throughout Milwaukee.
As a growing, volunteer-driven nonprofit, we are proud of the progress made in our first year and remain committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable results.

Access to hygiene products and other personal care necessities should never be considered a luxury.
Through our Essential Care Kit Initiative, Forgotten Daughters provides essential hygiene and personal care items to women and girls facing financial hardship, instability, or other barriers.
Our activities in 2026 have included:
Distribution of Essential Care Kits to women and girls.

Community outreach and acts of kindness.
Continued efforts to strengthen access to donated hygiene and personal care products.
In February 2026 alone, 21 women and girls received Essential Care Kits that included hygiene essentials and journals for personal reflection.
As community interest and requests for assistance grow, we remain focused on providing consistent, dignity-centered support within our available resources.
Our Impact: Helping women and girls access essential items while reinforcing that they deserve compassion, respect, and support.
In June 2026, Forgotten Daughters launched its inaugural summer Girls Book Club for girls ages 10–14.

In September 2026, Forgotten Daughters launched its GED Support Program to assist eligible adult learners working toward earning their high school equivalency credentials.
The program is designed to help reduce barriers through:
GED Ready practice testing and study resources.
Assistance with eligible GED examination fees.
Transportation support when available.
Coordination of volunteer tutoring support.
Goal setting, encouragement, and accountability.
Participants must enroll in an approved GED preparation program. Forgotten Daughters provides supplemental support and does not operate as a GED instructional institution.

Our Impact: Establishing a support system designed to reduce educational barriers and help adult learners move toward their goals.
Participant completion rates and examination outcomes will be reported as verified data becomes available.

In October 2026, Forgotten Daughters received conditional funding approval for WELL Milwaukee through the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment's Community-Led Seed Grant opportunity.
The proposed initiative will focus on helping adult women navigate barriers related to health, housing, financial stability, transportation, and access to community resources.
Our proposed timeline includes:
January–March 2027: Recruitment, outreach, community engagement, and partnership development.
April–December 2027: Initial implementation phase focused on wellness navigation, referral coordination, and connecting participants with trusted resources.
Our long-term goal is to build a sustainable network of community support that helps women access the services and opportunities they need.
WELL Milwaukee remains in the planning phase and is subject to final funding approval. Program activities, timelines, and services may be modified.
Every milestone reflects the generosity and dedication of individuals, volunteers, foundations, financial institutions, businesses, and community organizations that believe in our mission.
We gratefully acknowledge financial and in-kind support received throughout 2026, including contributions from ProLiteracy, Associated Bank, Summit Credit Union, We Energies Foundation, Educators Credit Union, Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation, Ross Stores, and other valued supporters.
Their investments help us expand services, obtain essential resources, strengthen educational opportunities, and build programs that respond to community needs.
We also recognize our volunteers, board members, community collaborators, and everyone who has contributed time, resources, or expertise to our growing organization.
Our progress is possible because people choose to invest in women and girls who deserve to be seen.
As Forgotten Daughters continues to grow, we are committed to responsible stewardship and transparent reporting.
We recognize the importance of documenting both our achievements and the areas where additional resources are needed.
Our organization is working to strengthen systems for tracking participation, program outputs, community needs, and measurable outcomes.
Future impact updates will include additional information about individuals served, services provided, educational milestones, and community partnerships as verified data becomes available.
We believe transparency is essential to building trust and sustaining meaningful community impact.
There is still much work to be done, and we cannot do it alone.
Whether you are a donor, volunteer, community organization, business, or someone who simply believes every woman deserves dignity and opportunity, there is a place for you in our mission.
Donate. Volunteer. Partner. Advocate.
Together, we can help more women and girls move from forgotten to fearless.
