Forgotten Daughters is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for our GED Support Pilot Program, launching in September 2026.
This program is designed to support adults who are committed to earning their GED by providing one-on-one tutoring support, accountability, encouragement, study resources, and guidance throughout the testing process.
Participants must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Be enrolled in a GED preparation program with an approved provider, such as Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) or another recognized adult education provider
Commit to actively working toward GED completion
Participate in weekly tutoring and support sessions
One-on-one tutoring support
Virtual and in-person tutoring options
Study resources and materials
Accountability and goal-setting support
GED test fee assistance for eligible participants who meet program requirements

The Forgotten Daughters GED Support Pilot Program is made possible in part through funding support from ProLiteracy's Literacy Opportunity Fund. This support helps remove financial barriers by providing GED test fee assistance, participant resources, and tutoring support for eligible participants.
