Suicide Awareness Helper Training (SafeTALK)
Some of our team was able to complete Suicide Awareness Helper training to strengthen community support, early intervention awareness, and mental health advocacy within the populations we serve.
February 2026 | Essential Care Distribution
In February 2026, Forgotten Daughters, Inc. supported 21 women and girls through the distribution of dignity-centered Essential Care Kits. Each kit included hygiene and personal care items designed to restore comfort, confidence, and a sense of care during times of need.Each kit also included a journal—because care goes beyond essentials.
Laptop Distribution – March 2026
Through a partnership with United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s Techquity WI Laptop Access Program, Forgotten Daughters, Inc. was able to assist more than two dozen community members with access to laptops and digital resources. Reliable technology opens doors to education, employment, and connection, and we were honored to help bridge that gap for individuals in our community. Partnerships like this allow us to continue expanding access and opportunity for those navigating life transitions.
Community Connection Circle: Building Together
March 2026 | Milwaukee Public Library – Capitol Branch
In March 2026, Forgotten Daughters, Inc. hosted our Community Connection Circle, bringing together community members, emerging nonprofit leaders, and grassroots organizers in a welcoming and collaborative space.
Attendees had the opportunity to build meaningful connections, share their work, and access valuable resources to support their growth and impact within the Milwaukee community.
A highlight of the event included engagement with Bryce from the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management, who shared insight and resources available to support emerging leaders and grassroots organizations.
